I need help with "Advanced" geo glitching . Im trying to get a double box on my map to go maybe around a door's height when its laying on its side. Ive tried doing it the normal way but after i do it three times it just falls through the floor. im trying to get it as low as the ones in TDHarding's Paragon map. Or somewhat that height. if anyone could help me my gamertag is EGS Berserk. Send me a message/friend request on live or something if you could help. Thanks.

Geomerging with doors only works to a certain depth that I've found. Generally you can keep going with the doors method until the object is somewhere around 50% "submerged" within the geometry. Beyond that, it will just sink (unless you're really, really lucky). My advice would be to save the setup once you get to the point just before it sinks, and then keep trying again and again to get it to work. If you somehow manage to sink it down without having it drop, save again, and repeat the process until you can get it to where you want it. It'll take time, but eventually you'll get it right.

Two things, though: 1. I would ask TDHarding what method he used to geomerge those boxes, as I'm willing to bet it's cleaner than the doors method. 2. When you hit that point with the doors where it's about to sink, try using the sides of the doors instead of the tops for a less dramatic effect.

Ya i tried that but it still wont work and i dont get how to save and quit out that fast within the game while also getting an accurate messurement of where i wanted the box to drop. I asked TDHArding but he wont answer so that was kinda an epic fail. I also tried doing the geoglitch technique where you put a floating box above the object.

Simply place bridges to make it go not as far in whenever needed.

By that he's saying that you need to place Bridges under the Doors, and on the top of the boxes, so the Doors don't slide in to much.
You also need to reset the Bridge then, just like the Doors.

If you have no problem keeping it straight and tidy, then this is what you do.

Im guessing that your double tapping A on the box and letting the doors do the work. If you are then try this instead:

Stand directly above the box, in the centre. Press A on the center of the box, and while still holding on, save as new map and quit. Do not move the monitor even after the game has ended.

    Try that.
