Hello, I'm El_Smacko. I've made a few maps and game types since getting Halo 3 on Christmas, and I heard about this community through a friend and thought it would be a good place to share my stuff and learn to better my technique. [EDIT] I just read that when posting game types and maps you are not supposed to link directly to you fileshare. At the risk of sounding like a huge moron, how do you link files without using the fileshare?
Welcome to forgehub! If you want to link your map directly to FH, first you have to publish it to the bungie forums. To do this, you must be in your file share. Underneath the map you want to publish, there should be a link that reads "publish to forums". Once you've published the map, you can directly link that individual map to FH or any other site you wish. You may also want to read this before posting your first map. Its a guideline for how to post your map here. I hope you enjoy your stay here at FH, and I'll be looking for your maps on the forums.
