I joined Forgehub because although I was pretty good at forging, I never had the patience for it. I would have great ideas, but when it came time to make the map I would start to loose interest. I joined to see if I could learn a way to forge faster but still have good quality in the map!
Well michael, welcome to our lovely site we have here. If you are interested, you should check out the G&A forums section, its where some of gather to show off our artistic talents among some other things. Please do check it out, we wont bite... and we sure would like more visitors than we currently get. But if quick forging is all you are looking for, check out the ghost merging technique tutorial, that will have you set for the rest of your forging, ever.
Yes but I do know how to ghost merge, but it takes so long just to get the object to get ghost'd and after you do it once you have to start a new round :-( (Any tips on speading up lining up objects perfectly???)
you don't have to start a new round, well ok you do but only to delete the first dummied object, and you can do that any time, it doesnt have to be immediately after its been ghosted. But what i do is dumm a double block, start new round, then roceed withghosting without deleting the double block i made and use it for a placer so i can line things up absolutely flat or straight, then start another round when neccesary to delete unwanted objects.
You can find pretty much all you'll need to know HERE. Just remember to read the rules and have a good time.
