I wanted to introduce myself since I have been on here a few months and have not done so. I am "Tall" Tom from central Virginia and I have been forging since Halo Reach was released in the Fall. I have since learned about the vast community that existed pre-Reach that have forged some amazing things using the very limited forge system in Halo 3. To you I give you props! I attempted to forge once in Halo 3 and became so frustrated with the tools I lost interest. To you masochists that stuck it out and learned all of the forging tricks of Halo 3, you are an inspiration. Now that Reach has this amazing forge system I am obsessed with map making. With every map I try to make and every day I visit the forums here, I learn more about what makes a good map and what not to do. I appreciate the help I have already received from this amazing community of forgers and I look forward to more interactions with you guys. Amature forger that I am, I have already made several maps that my friends and I enjoy in custom games. I hope to refine them to a point where I can post them for testing on these forums and release something that the community can enjoy as well. The maps I have found on here at Forge Hub are nothing short of amazing and browsing the community of maps always gets me excited to start something new and different. If I only had more free time to forge!! Anyway, thanks for reading all of this and I look forward to being an active part of this community. I'm 6'6" and it's always the first thing people notice about me, although I sometimes forget how tall I am. I get all of the standard tall comments and questions on a daily basis. How tall are you? Do you play basket ball? Watch your head! You can fit in that car?! Will you hand me that from up there? (I get this one at the grocery store a lot) It's all good
