I've recently created a new Infection variant of The Pit. now I know what you're thinking; there's a world of crappy infection maps out there, what makes this one any different? What makes this map any better than the ones created by those 3rd-graders that enjoy Lego sets?

Unlike most maps forged for the Infection gametype, my map incorporates teh zombie / haunted house theme while not degrading from the overall gameplay and practicality. As you may imagine, my map's hot spot is a the 3 story base on The Pit, and yes I did use the third floor. Basicly what I've done with the 'house' is board up the windows with destructable pallets and place crates outside the base for a somewhat destructable play ground for the zombies. You will notice that Non-zombies DO NOT start inside the house but rather outside next to a four deployable grav-lifts. This allows players to feel a sense of urgency in getting into the second floor of the house, rather than starting in sanctuary. There are 3 'levels' of the map that provide a temporary sanctuary from the zombie. The first being the second floor of the house: this provides a "seven second" sanctuary from zombies, weapons are limited and zombie accessability is more than limited. The second being a secluded platform linked to the second and third floors via Two-way teleporters, this provides little room for players to move around, but provides superior weapons (ex. flamethrower).
The thrid and safest part of the map is the third floor, inaccessable by normal means, this floor is near top of the map with snipers turrets aimed at the secluded platform and shotguns, the floor is equivilant to the secondfloor in size, but gives snipers to a chanceto get their winning kills from above.

I've incorporated a teleporter to another platform via the sword room, this is not part of the "House" but is a last resort for any non-zombies who lost thier chance at getting up into the house the first time.

This map is based on an Alpha Zombie Gametype that should keep players on thier toes.
