Anyone else ever notice this? I used my Astros for the first time while playing Reach today, and whenever I lost health, I began to hear a faint heartbeating noise. I had never noticed it before, even when I had the sound pumped up pretty high. Anyways, I just thought it was pretty cool that Bungie added little things like that to the game.
Not much to discuss in this thread but glad it is there, The more visual and audio effects that tell me whats happening around me in game helps me to make choices on what I'm gonna do quicker and with less thinking.
Although, it's true it can be helpful in most situations, I find that it can be irritating. Especially if you test a high drop in forge, injure yourself and find yourself listening too it for like four hours.
Trust me, I know what you mean. Maybe they should remove it when you are in edit mode? Anyway all you have to do is commit suicide.
GoW2 is worse. Breathing + heartbeat + blood on screen = can't see or hear ****. You have to guess where the guy is when you're shooting your shotty.
I forgot what game it was, but when your health was low, your screen got really blurry and red creeped up from the edges of your view, and every sound was muffled except for your heartbeat. It was horrible. Good thing Bungie didn't make that same mistake.
The fact that you have the same styled hat as me, although a different color, and **** it back in the same fashion annoys me. tl:dr heartbeat is annoying.
