Hear My Cry: The Sandbox Map Pack 3 Of My Greatest Maps These are the maps I have put the most time into in making them great and I give you them in a countdown format from good to great. #3 Colma My Graveyard like map made in the crypt of sandbox. Being a crypt, I tried to give it a graveyard like format if anyone does not know. Here are the specs on the map and 2 pictures: Weapons- Battle Rifle X4, 30 sec respawn Spiker X4, 30 sec respawn Mauler X2, 30 sec respawn Sniper Rifle X2, 45 sec respawn Covenant Carbine X2, 30 sec respawn Rocket Launcher X1, 120 sec respawn Equipment- Plasma Grenade X4, 1 min respawn Power Drain X4, 1 min respawn Bubble Shield X2, 1 min respawn Vehicles- Ghosts X2, 120 sec respawn Mongoose X4, 30 sec respawn *Note-2 Platforms with Bubble Shields Have Been Placed Above Carbine Spawn. #2 Mantaray The more larger map of the 3, Mantaray is inspired by Makisupa007's map Coventry. It is different from his map but it still captures the good gameplay and easy terrain. Here are the specs and pics. P.S. It captures good aesthetics as well as massive amounts of interlocking and just invites you into the action. Lets look at the specs and pics to see why I crowned this map #1 in my top 3 Maps.P.S. Map looks pretty nice, i rermember seeing the lotus island map before although i dont really see difference. The others looks quite well forged and the ideas are pretty good. The only problem with all of the map is that they could all use alot more cover.
welllll the 2nd one looks pretty sweet. the third map needs a lot of work on interlocking, may i suggest a v4?
Why did you repost all the maps you've already posted into a map pack?... This is basically the same as posting a map twice. Which you're not supposed to do.
Here's something I should add. All of the maps have cover. That was part of the 5 main things I try to get in a map and each map has one. Lets Make and analogy. Your playing on Lotus Islands(V4 by the way and Mantaray is a V3) and you goon the top bridge. Hide between one of the barriers I put to keep you from falling off. If you do fall off its a 80/100% chance you will land on the bottom bridge. I would have put even more cover than there already is but sadly it took up so much just to make the islands for each team. Now an analogy on Mantaray. Look through the video I put through, Can you not see about 10 places to hide on or hide behind even? its very simple. Lets say your on red and you are returning blues team flag to your base. With the little sheilds I put there, you are protected from not being able to score in sapture the flag for your team, Or you can get some cover if your sniping in that spot. Finally Colma. On Colma it may seem like there is no place to hide...maybe not. I am going to give you all the hiding spots on colma for protection from the ghosts. #1, the rocket spawn. I put in 4 little holes directly in front of the obelisks for surprise and for cover. #2, Crabine spawn. Hide behind the barrier and if that doesnt work, jump right above you off the obelisk for a boost to the bubble sheild spawn. #3, sniper spawn. Its covered perfectly, why not take advantage of the situation? #4, power drain spawn(graves). Its like a maze hard to figure out where other people are. And finally #5,the 4 BR spawns. If you notice the holes right above the BR's why not hide in them? All of these analogies are to show you that you should not judge a picture. Im sorry I dont know hiw to get actual gameplay videos up on youtube but if someone were to tell me, id be abliged. Finally dont judge my maps then say ill give it a download because 20% of the time that ever happens and if you like the map why not? Dont lie to people and say you will. I dont download anything and thats just me but sometimes if the map is really just that incredible, I will download it. So next time I need to explain to someone that one of my maps has cover or some other thing that is missing from a picture, let me know and ill explain. All three of these maps look pretty slick. I'm definately DL-ing all three. The forging is superb, and the interlocking is pretty much flawless. As for gameplay, it looks theres a lot of fun to be had on these maps.
i like it when people make mappacks. i like how u have a vid for every map to. colma- colma is really cool like good forging and everything but it is a wierd name. i think it needs more stuff 2 cuz its a little open. 4.5/5 mantaray- mantaray looks good to i like it cuz its asymetric. i like asymetric maps more than symetric ones. it also has cool struchers in it. maybe 2 banshees is a bit much tho. 4/5 lotus islands- this is a really cool symetric map. i like how you put in juicy but it doesn't look like it makes it hard too see. the only thing i think is wierd in this is the mongees. WHY DID YOU PUT IN 2 MONGEES?!?!?! lol jk. its just wierd tho. 5/5 overal u made some prety sweet maps. lotus islands is my favorite map here. theyall rock tho! 4.7/5
You said that your maps have cover, but i don't know, it still seems very open and barren.. I guess even if you have cover, its just way to open and boring.. I mean they look really good, especially the last one, it caught my eye. At least the forging is done well
This may be the reason. It may be because there is more lower cover than cover that is really raised a little. By the way, I named the map Colma because I wanted it to be a graveyard theme and there is a graveyard actually called Coma or Colma. I don't know the spelling
i don't know, this just seams like a clever way to double post all your maps. all these maps i have seen before in previous post. if changes were made to any of these maps you should have just updated your original post, that bumps them anyway. AND STOP POSTING MAP PACKS PEOPLE (not just you) UNLESS THE MAPS HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH ONE ANOTHER AND ARE NEW.
