HCS TOURNAMENT STATISTICS Regarding the recently released public API, I think there should be a system in place that exclusively collects Halo Championship Series tournament statistics independently from the online matchmaking Arena playlists. It would be great to generate both team and player profile pages displaying stats from seasonal tournament history we can get a more accurate depiction a team's skill within the context of the competitive gaming atmosphere (HCS and online tournaments). In addition to collecting data from live events, I think it would be beneficial to set up partnerships with participating event organizers that focus in online tournament play such as ESL, PGL, IronGaming, among other communities. The data these sites collect can be called back from your system to provide the public with the combined online statistics generated from tournament play in addition to live events. Teams will then have two win/loss tournament records to display, one for "Live Events" and the other for "Online Events". Please call back data collected from participating eSports sites so can generate combined public results for all tournament data in the future and have something that would distinguish accomplishments between online matchmaking and tournament play more clearly.
