The only thing I don't like about this map, is that 1v1 matches always seem to turn into a sniper battle. But congrats on the feature, it's a very deserving map.
Finally . Excellent map, excellent gameplay, and always fun (as long as Tak isn't whoring powerups). Gratz on the feature squid and Lightz.
I really think that Gamebattles should consider this for the 1v1 ladders. It just plays perfectly for 1v1s. The gameplay is phenomenal.
Yeah it always devolves into a Sniper battle. However, the forging itself is amazing. Maybe if the snipers had a longer respawn I would like it a bit more.
You realize this map is intended for 1v1 and 2v2... Getting a killtacular is.. unlikely to say the least.
This looks very well made. Everything looks so clean and pretty. I like the bridge with the 2 corner walls, that looks cool and I wish I had thought of that. Im not much into MLG games but thats cool cuz you have a matchmaking version too, thats great. Gratz on the feature and the Premium for Squid.
Im not sure how long back I saw this, but I remember thinking that it deserves a feature. I already had it bookmarked for later so I could download when I had space. Well done, love the gametypes.
It certainly can, but I've played plenty of games where I've frustrated the hell out of my opponent by just doing the rounds and keeping the sniper away from him. The speed of the spawns for the weapons and powerups add a new dimension to the Halo game that utilizes a very different skill set. Zanno deserves all the credit for creating the initial Greenhouse gametype (for the record, I created Discord because at the time Zanno hadn't published the final version of his), which takes some of the cooler elements of games like Quake and Unreal Tournament (faster gameplay, weapon/powerup control) and makes it work in Halo 3. It can be kind of tough to get used to the gametype, but once you've played a few games with it (try Greenhouse, people; greatest Ghost Town variant out there) you'll really start to enjoy how well it was thought out. Thanks, man. Again, the MLGpro forums are doing a non-official 1v1 tournament using Harmony, Greenhouse, Alpine, Bliss, and more so hop on over there and sign up if you think you have what it takes. I certainly don't, lol. Actually, I've played some 5-man FFA on the matchmaking version, and it played pretty well. It can fit up to 6, which works great for one-sided objective games. Thanks again for all the positive responses, guys.
This is my kind of map. It is simply orgasmic (if I'm allowed to say that). Their is only one thing I see wrong with it. In the first picture I see a bump. Oh well that's just me being pedantic. 5/5 I can't wait to play this sexy map.
You are talking about the double boxes right? I assure you there is no bump. There simply is a space there, but it acts a perfect ramp. I have see that in many maps. I played on this, frequenting that ramp often, and I did not notice any bumps. I understand your mistake, though.
Very Impressive, I like the geo merging, it looks so natural in the map. It's a really good size as well, 2v2 is perfect for this map. I think the game-type is very cool as well. Nice job, 5/5 from me.
Congrats! Lights and SquidHands! You guys definably deserve this feature! This is easily one of the best 1v1 or 2v2 maps ever made on foundry. It's even for a 4to6 man FFA. This is a very well forged map I suggest people give it a DL, I guarantee you will enjoy it! Once again, good job guys on an exellent map!
Just realized I haven't posted here yet. Glad you guys like the map. not to pat myself on the back but I still play this pretty regularly for 1v1 (thats me playing in the video btw) along with some other 1v1 maps. Hopefully squid and I have some more cool semi-collaborations in the future. PS: gotta love that noscope at 2:16
