um this post is not up to forum standards. you need at least 1 pic and a download link. you have neither. EDIT: thanks for adding a link but you better add some pix soon or this thread will get locked.
Wow, I hate people who tell people that there posts aren't up to standards but don't help them fix it. Like he said, you need at least 1 screenshot of your map, but you should have more. To get them, first take the screenshots of your map. Usually you should have one or two overviews, and the rest should point out key areas of your map. Then, after you have taken them, go to Halo Screen Shots and type in your gamertag in the search box on the right. It might take a while to find them the first time, but it will be faster the next time. It may not work today, however, as xbox live is down, but I'm not sure. Anyway, after you have done that, you will see ALL of your screenshots, not just the ones in your fileshare. Click on the desired photos, and simply copy and paste the first code into your post. You also need a download link to the map itself, not your service record or even fileshare. EDIT: To make a post seem smooth, interesting, and informative, you should put in: -A description of the map (# of players recommended, the gametypes that you can play with it, and some background info) -A weapons list. This should include the number of times the weapon appears on the map, and if you feel up to it, list the number of spare clips and respawn time -A download link. If you want to make the link look neat, use this: TYPE YOUR MAP NAME HERE[*b][*url] REPLACE ALL * WITH A / BEFORE USING
Okay, well ALtius, you covered that really well, but this tutorial provides higher quality pics. It may take longer, but it's worth the extra time. Also, you must provide a link directly to the map, not your Service Record/ File Share. It must be the file itself.
make a new thread using the guidelines people made here, that way your map isnt tainted by this. lemme know when you've done that so i can delete this. LOCKED.
