Hang 'Em High "Tombstones for Everybody" Description There have been many remakes of Hang 'Em High, but none that have really played like it...until now. Don't believe it? Try: Grabbing the rockets from underneath the walkway Capping the flag from the back of blue base Grenading yourself the snipes from the back of either base Okay, so maybe not that last one. The map includes original weapon, spawn, and objective locations. Gametypes All are supported - Slayer, CTF, and KOTH are best. Screenshots View from Red Base: Shotgun and Blue Base: Walkways, Sniper, Camo, and OS: Miscellaneous The map should play like you remember, as long as you play at normal running speeds - game variants with increased speeds (like MLG) will allow for some previously impossible jumps. I hope everyone enjoys playing this as much as I enjoyed making it! Download the real Hang 'Em High
Sorry but alot of people have remade this map and this is not the best of them, its good but it could be better. You could have used something different for the bridges and it looks alittle sloppy to. No offense but i gotta give it a 3/5
Seems half decent to me, even though I probably couldn't forge that, due to my patients level. I don't even know what to forge anymore. Anyways, back to the point, To start, I think you need more pics. 3/5
I really dis-like the wood bridges used for well... bridges. I've seen a few remakes of this map, and the best ones didn't use the wood bridges. Also, I don't see the centre gutter either. All that complaining aside, I like your window hallway and I REALLY like your pillars, especially the half-merged coloured columns.
Yea, I agree that the wood bridges especially don't look great. But the bases do look good, and it really does feel like Hang 'em, more so than the other remakes I've seen.
the wood bridges really make the map less good looking, and also you should replace the broken columns with regular small columns. why? broken ones are moveavble and there are rockets on the map. that and you can only jump on top of the normal columns with a grenade, just like in the original.
The wood bridges were necessary for gameplay - you can't grab the rockets from underneath a stone column. In the end, I cared about gameplay more than looks. I can certainly attempt to clean them up, but it'd be difficult to remove them completely. In the original, you could crouch-jump to the top of the those columns (nades weren't necessary), so it matches the height. The broken columns cannot be moved by things like grendaes or rockets, so it's not a problem.
