    Map Briefing

Ok, seriously though, this IS a map that we DID make. Don't mind that cool picture of all the hammerhead sharks above. That's just for show. The real Hammerhead Valley is an asymmetrical map that takes place in the Canyon part of Forge World. It takes up the same space that Hemorrhage does. So if you hadn't taken a guess already, the map is best suited for BTB gametypes. It is possible to play 4v4 on it, though, it will more than likely be slow and boring for you. If you cant get a full party of 16 players, try to at least get 6v6. Team Slayer, Multi-Flag, and KotH all work really well. It's also possible to play Assualt gametypes, 1-flag, Head Hunter, Invasion Slayer, and even Rocket Race (which is actually really fun).

    Weapon Info

DMR; 30 sec spawn with 2 clips (6)
Needle Rifle; 30 sec spawn with 2 clips (2)
Assault Rifle; 30 sec spawn with 2 clips (2)
Needler; 60 sec spawn with 2 clips (2)
Plasma Pistol; 45 sec spawn (2)
Concussion Rifle; 90 sec spawn with 2 clips (2)
Shotgun; 90 sec spawn with 1 clip (2)
Sniper Rifle; 120 sec spawn with 2 clips (2)
Rocket Launcher; 150 sec spawn with 1 clip (2)
Plasma Launcher; 180 sec spawn (1)
Mounted Machinegun; 90 sec spawn (2)
Plasma Grenade; 25 sec spawn (4)
Frag Grenade; 15 sec spawn (4)
    ---
    Mongoose; 15 sec spawn (4)
    Ghost; 30 sec spawn (2)
    Warthog; 60 sec spawn (4)
    Revenant; 120 sec spawn (2)
    Wraith; 150 sec spawn (2)

At first I thought it looked too big for just 2-team CTF, but I can see some wicked multiteam CTF, AS, etc. games being played on this.

I personally find hemorrhage really fun for 4v4, that might be my play style talking though.

From the looks of this, there's some really nice looking structures. And I especially like the middle arch in the road area.

Downloading, and will be playing at my CGN on wednesday.
    =)

Wow, i remember testing this a while back, was very fun trying to get vehicles over the rounded lumps for cover XP.

Looks like some small changes happened since i played but its essentially the same, good map, hope to play it

finally it emerges from the depths of ocean to breach the surface and omg shark references

the long lost brother of our other map, Megalodon!
this was actually created around the same time as Megalodon, but i think its a better sized map than its larger brother, and the gameplay definitely reflects that by being better paced.

i urge everyone to not dismiss this as just another gulch btb map, and give it a shot.
we had a great time in testing, as did most players who helped us.

I was wondering when this was going to be released. I've played quite a few games on this as well. The only thing I would recommend changing is I often would go like half-way up that central tall structure and I had a pretty good angle of everything on the map. I would lower the kill zone a bit lower so a jetpacker could only get to the flat part and not the slanting upward part. Other than that this map was an enjoyable (vehicle friendly) map.

^-That was taken care of. The kill-zone covers the flat part. IMO, it'd be too strong if it didn't.
