The hub for all things Halo now has a release date. Microsoft has confirmed that the Halo Waypoint will become available in November, which should make it easy for fans to satisfy all their Halo needs. A tweet on the official feed reads, "Nov 5. Mark it on your calendar. That's when you will get your hands (or controllers) on Halo Waypoint." Described as the "Halo destination," the Waypoint will feature audio and video content and the option to follow your "Halo career" by tracking which Halo games you play and which achievements you unlock, among other things. The Waypoint will be accessible from the Xbox 360 dashboard, likely from the My Xbox section. It'll also serve as the mode of delivery for the Halo Legends anime series. Look for it on November 5.
Ah.. Nice (Y) - I thought Microsoft were going to surprise announce that it will be availible with ODST, and Microsoft were quoted the other week saying something like 'ODST's release is alot bigger than some people expect, you don't know everythign yet'... Something like that (Y)
Moar forging options nao! This is Bungie's chance! I'm not too excited about Halo Waypoint. It seems like a place they are sticking a bunch of stuff I already have. Unless there were some features about it I haven't heard of yet.
I read something like this a while ago on another site. Not that excited for it :S For those of you who don't know what Waypoint is,
Sounds good to have everything halo in one place. And will the halo legends series be free to watch on XBL?
I doubt it. They're being made by some of the greatest film makers anime has to offer, I guess they don't come cheap. I mean, we even have to pay for episodes of Red vs Blue on the marketplace and thats literally made by drunk gamers!
Same here. It doesn't seem that cool to me. I can get all that and way more right here on my laptop. Whatever though, maybe it'll be cool, we'll just have to wait and see.
Just previews and some early full episodes. Halo Waypoint will also debut several behind-the-scenes videos that chronicle the making of Halo Legends.
I havent even heard of Halo waypoint yet, but now I am looking forward to it. This will be something that I am going to love.
Hopefully theyll post the bungie update on it so I dont have to get up and go on the internet. Or maybe...Why doesnt MS just create a damn web-browser already!!
