Yes I know, but having to charge the shots is just annoying, and one time an enemy ran by while I was locking on to the enemy sniper yet it locked onto the sprinter instead who then darted into a room and survived.
I found this out today--it's probably old, but whatever. On Sword Base CTF, everyone knows it's a long and difficult journey up all the walkways to score the flag. But if you can manage to walk the flag to the gravity lift in the middle of the lower level (which isn't that difficult to do) and you get a good jump, you can toss the flag up to within feet of your capture point and a teammate can score in seconds.
I will never understand how anyone can tolerate playing any game with an ability that makes you stand still. Forget balance, that just isn't fun. Whatever, that's why I just won't pick it.

I'm loving the new power weapons. The Grenade Launcher is actually really hard to use, at least, I think so. It's always satisfying to deliver a Pro Pipe round to the face. In this one game I played, I finally found the Plasma Launcher. The summary of the following minutes was: Enemy? Click click. Bang, dead. Rinse and repeat.
Every time I load ODST, the Play the Beta selection isn't there. I have to go back to the dashboard, load ODST back up, and then it's there. Anyone else having this problem?
Yeah sometimes it does that, sometimes it doesn't. I think if you just wait a second longer than you normally would then it works fine. If the dashboard comes up for me I just press t he guide button to close it straight away then select Play The Beta again. =]
Wow I just setup my xbox on our 42 inch TV and couldn't resist playing a game of the beta. Man, I forgot how good it was on a big screen since I moved it into my room with a little TV.
I have yet to play the beta with a screen to myself. Stupid homework. "Hey dad it's me. it was raining pretty hard just now so I'm at my friend's house. do you think you could pick me up in an hour?"
I've never seen someone so excited by standing still... besides in the majority of those situations if he has any capable team mates anywhere near him you'll be dead anyway. And everyone knows evade is the most kickass armor ability anyway, it works in essentially the same way with the added bonuses of you ACTUALLY MOVING OUT OF THEIR LINE OF SIGHT, hell, sometimes you might end up behind cover (if you're good) If you actually read...
