Man this is taking so long to download its been an hour and 30 minutes and its only at 78%. O well I guess I'll have to fined something to keep me occupied. There must been a lot of people downloading this.
Took me like 10 minutes to download. Played one game, wow. I've got a lot of catching up to do. It definitely does feel different, and I'm going to have to set myself up for this game. Only thing now is that it's saying "loading information from the Halo Reach server", like it did in H3, but it won't stop. Probably from all the people who just got on though, so whatever.
FML 50 mins after starting download: 24% Left it for 40 mins while I had dinner, only to come back and find out I'd somehow lost my internet connection and been signed off, stopping the download. Downloaded it a second time to bring it up to 54%. Switched my xbox off thinking it would increase download speed. Turned xbox back on 30 mins later to find that it had lost 10%. Almost 3 hours gone now, and it's 53% done... so please no-one ***** about it taking anything less than an hour... *EDIT* Well, that's interesting... Having just posted this comment the download jumped up by 16%
I downloaded it in 8 minutes. I also initiated the download exactly 2 minutes after it was released, so I probably got in there before all the noobs.
I've been downloading it for 20 minutes. 2% So much for Comcast high speed internet access, and the worst part is you can't even download it in the background. If you leave the screen the download stops. ****ing laaaaaame.
@ Textured Sun, go for "Recon" controller setup, its similar to the Halo 3. Arghhh Micrsoft are so annoying. The Loyal Halo 2 Member Email said I would get my code nearer the time of the beta, yet 21:21 on the day of release and 4 hours after it was released via ODST, still no email has come through. That's not nearer the time, thats whenever some fat guy with a packet of crisps and a mcdonalds remembers to press send. You would at least expect them to have it set up to automatically send at a certain time, this is a multi-billionaire computing company, yet they cant even send an email on time.
I can't get a game at all, nor can any of my friends. The playlists aren't downloading, and it sometimes can't connect to the halo reach server. Anyone else getting this problem?
the problem started happening this morning when everyone and their mom started to try and play. give it some time. either that, or try and go in alone, without a party.
Could be worse, I can't even get a drink of water from my sink. And worse than that, I was denied my coffee at 5:30 this morning because of this boil water ban.....Couple that with this looooooooonnnnngggggggg aaaaaaaaassssssssssss download and my day couldn't really get any worse.
