Wasn't the only time you fought elites in Halo 2 the first Arbiter mission, the one where you went to kill those heretics?
Fair enough, it's the campaign I played by far the least tbh, though now you say that I do remember fighting elites on the Scarab way after I was thinking. I just remember fighting Brutes more than anything.
You didn't encounter Brutes till the last level, really. H2 brutes where a joke, two shots with a BR or Carbine and the where down. Also, the brute shot sucked ass in H2, so when you encountered a brute with one it was a breeze to get by. The greatest thing about them was, when they would have a shotgun and try and use it at far range, that always cracked me up.
In the new images on bungie.net, most brutes have much less armor than those in halo 3. So are they going to be weaker in reach?
I think they will be about the same: from firefight vidoc here you can see two Minors and a Captain, the captain looks the same as the one in H3.
The captain appears to have the same armor coverage, but look at how little of the brute minors is armored, especially compared to the Halo 3 Brute minor, which is also wearing something over almost his entire body that could be used for the shields.
so all the playlists with the maps and gametypes in them are up too. paradiso and hemorrhage are in the invasion playlist. And team SWAT in BTB sounds interesting.
I was hoping Hemorrhage would be in Firefight or at least Invasion. I can't wait to see those Elites coming over the hill in the middle!
There is nothing left to see of halo: reach. Just a few days now of sitting it out until the game arrives.

Well first you need to buy the base helmet, but to unlock the skull is 1 credit though the requirement is that you must have purchased every other helmet. Can't remember if you have to buy the add-ons as well or if its just the base, I think it's just the base though.
