I've been worling on a gamemode and I stumbled upon a little issue. I'm sure there is a solution, I just haven't aolved it yet. Does anyone know how to set a variable to a player's current shield ratio? I know it's possible with objects like portable shields, but I want it to work with a specific player's shield.

Hope someone can help and thank you!

Use the object being checked inside a boundary = to that of the extra object within and set the boundary to check for players

i'm confused. what check can be done to specifically examine the state of someone's shields?

I had a similar question actually, maybe it can go here?

How do you remove a player's shields with a script? I can kill them, and do damage using the "Damage ratio", but it does not appear to be possible to remove their shields so that they would be one-shot, for instance.

    Thanks!

going back and reading this again, because I am interested in checking and affecting shields... but the posts above make no sense at all. it's as if they are not really talking about the same thing.

can anyone make sense of them or elaborate?

    thanks
