Hi all! My name is Kari and I am the co-founder of an annual Halo tournament called Fight Like a Girl (FLAG). We started in 2006 and have since raised nearly $30,000 for the fight against breast cancer! Normally FLAG consists of competitive tournaments over Xbox LIVE. This year I decided to change things up a bit and add a series of creative contests called the "Creative Bundle." I was hoping that some of you would be interested in the Halo 4 Forge Challenge. Registrations end Thursday Nov 15th at 11:59pm PST Submissions are due by Saturday Nov 17th at 11:59pm PST Is there an entry fee? Yes, the entry fee is $10 donation per person (this will grant entry into the whole Creative Bundle so you can enter the other categories as well) Where does the money go? All of the proceeds go to the Puget Sound chapter of Susan G Komen. For the boobies! What are the rules for the Forge Challenge? 1. Download the base map from our fileshare. Gamertag: FLAG Tournament | Map Name: FLAG Forge Base 2. You'll see a warthog on one asteroid and a kill ball on the second asteroid. Your goal is to come up with a creative way to get the warthog into the kill ball. 3. Put the final map on your fileshare and make sure FLAG is somewhere in the title 4. Judges will download the map from your fileshare on Sunday Nov 18th 5. We'll load up the map, get into the warthog and drive forward 6. Your map should not require the judge to do anything other than drive the warthog forward What is the prize? The winner will be featured on Halo Waypoint! There may also be some other goodies involved, but I don't have that completely locked down yet. How do I sign up? Go to FLAG Tournament website and register for the Creative Bundle.
