i'm disappointed in halo 4 forge like anybody else, but thats not the point i was making. it has nothing to do with the game quality. it's about image. outsiders dont know the specifics to what a forge hub community manager does.
I don't always know why I believe what I believe but I do believe what I believe and I try to educate myself as much as I can and I will defend what I believe and if I'm proven wrong what I believe can change in a split second. Even if outsiders perceived community manager as representative for our community i don't see a issue in that since your disappointed in Halo 4 forge, I'm disappointed in Halo 4 forge, Our community manager is disappointed in Halo 4 forge. If we where to take a vote I'm sure at least 51% of us would say where disappointed in forge and if that's the case I think its fine for everyone to know we are disappointed in forge. If that gives us a bad rep so be it, Rather live with bad rep and good forge for Halo 5 then good rep and bad forge in halo 5.
i believe he said most recently "Not really sure how any of you guys are keeping faith." i really dont know what you're on about right now.
Lol... community managers, across the board in the Halo community, are representatives of said community. The literal definition is immaterial in regards to practical usage.
I hate to be that guy, but this thread isn't for the discussion of the Community Manager rank, or the discussion of what Chrs is allowed to post in on the forums. If you have any opinions on the staff, or staff positions, there are plenty of places in which to suggest changes. This is a Halo 4 thread, so let's keep it strictly about Halo 4 guys.
I hate to be that guy to tell that guy he triple posted. Anywhoooo, got my first overkill today. Baby steps...
It is Halo related actually, so it fits. Anyway I'm predicting we'll see another map pack within a couple months. Hopefully something more forge friendly.
I told you already, they announced three map packs. They gave the names, short descriptions and release windows (the last one I'm pretty sure of anyway). No forge maps as far as I know.
It's like I'm Cassandra of Troy...except I've learned to benefit from everyone being retarded and ignorant.
Any Halo game not worth comparing critically to every other shooter and complaining about isn't worth playing. Isn't that basically half of the intention of this thread? Halo 4 discussion both good and bad? So I tried CTF in the DLC playlist. I was actually really pleased. The only reason I didn't like CTF previously was the reduced movement speed, and now they not only fixed it, but made you moderately viable in combat. I also like the undroppable flags. Makes runs more epic. Team Oddball was sweet too, but campy as ****. I had an epic throw moment, but other than that it was just the two teams taking turns holding the high ground above blue base on Harvest afaik. Not really sure as I JIP'd into that. I just spawned into a solid camp set-up, and sat there and helped hold it until they broke us, and then I scooped the ball, held it until my team respawned, and ran it down with the entire enemy team on my ass, chucking it just in time (as they were mowing me down) to keep it in my team's possession and win the game. Overall I'm really impressed with how objectives play in Halo 4, and I'm disappointed they didn't give us more. Assault in particular, with this throwing mechanic. It seems like it would have been really fun. Is grifball functional as neutral bomb, or is it too stripped down? I thought I heard something about being stuck with hammer/swords or something.
Is there a gametype that makes it so that you can't spawn with plasma pistol or plasma grenades? Like maybe a modded gametype? Because that ruins vehicles for me.
Modded gametype would only be useable in custom games, And in custom games you can force loadouts like in Reach just do that and make whatever loadouts you want(like DMR/BR/AR with pistol secondary) not including PP/P nades. I highly doubt there is a mod that allows custom loadouts but with restrictions(No PP). Because people mod the gametypes and within the gametype options and there is no custom loadout options(only turn on/off forced loadouts and forced loadout options). So you would have to actually mod the game but then wouldn't effect other players in lobby since you weren't modding the gametype. I'm not a modder so i don't know for sure. But I have downloaded a modded no sprint gametype with forced loadouts so its actually fun to play with vehicles on it.(except hard to get enough people to play to represent a BTB match)
The people on waypoint are upset that their "free" map pack is no longer free I am rapidly losing faith in humanity.

If your faith in humanity is based on the average Waypoint user then you were kinda screwed from the start....
