I just re-read the article and noticed this: I dunno how other people interpret that, but to me it sounds like the actual skill matching won't change when they make the change, it'll just be a visual addition to the existing skill matching system. Perhaps I'm wrong, but even if not then skill matching seems to be quite a bit better than Reach was already so that's not necessarily a complaint.
Can you use custom gametype settings to give everybody the 'Stalker' specialization or something? That has a somewhat similar functionality, afaik.
I haven't seen anything in settings for specializations. I'm pretty sure those are outside our purview.
Yeah, specialisations are just subsets of experience ranking. They're (afaik) 10 level runs which unlock relevant armour along the way and then an extra armour mod at the end.
just finished the campaign, anyone know if there is a Legendary ending? Spoiler Really sad how Cortana "died" I doubt she'll stay that way tho for H5 & 6.
Spoiler There is an legendary ending.. At the full end, the epilogue on all the other difficulties you see MC,s helmet taken off, but not his face, in legendary? You see a split second of his eyes. Did you also liked the music at mission 8, when you get in that huge arena to disable the anti airs? I heared halo classic music, really awesome and i know wich soundtrack it is. And about your spoiler. Spoiler I bet the librarian has an huge role in this, she protected chief, and maybe also cortana. Oh and everyone, SWAT has arrived! Skisma Edit: really dude? Not everyone wants to know the endings because some of us still have best the game. That's what spoilers are for!
Because Resupply is an Armor Mod, and they just put together predefined loadouts including it. You could put together predefined loadouts in your gametype using the Nemesis Armor Mod in all of them, but I'm not sure it'd work as you're intending since it just shows the last person who killed you, you can't set who it shows. Plus, players then wouldn't be able to use their own loadouts, don't know if you'd consider that a downside or not. My point before was just that Specialisations are a ranking system, often confused with the relevant Armor Mods that you unlock at the end of each Specialisation.
Man, it seems like they designed the spartan ops merely for co-op gameplay. I finished all of them, and some are even hard on normal. On hacksaw, i got like 100 crawlers coming at me, and thats not even close to the actuall number. And gagarin.. But anyhow, i suceeded. SWAT is fun, obliterated the opposite team a few times. I have two questions.. 1 : Does anyone even have an assumption on when the file share system goes live? 2 : In forge, can we actually play normal weapons down? And if so.. in wich gametypes (Is it possible in Dominion?), i know its not possible in flood, and i find it incredibly stupid too.
Haha No, the science team is named "Team Gagarin" I find it irritating now that there is no Spartan ops theather, i had a very funny moment. I smacked an Elite Hero, and he didnt die but went of flyiny.. aaand crashed into a wall.
I thought they said Gargamel, and maybe even got to fight smurfs! But no... NOOOO it had to be Gargarin.
lolololol. Immaturity FTW. I found out about the SWAT playlist when I went on an hour ago I started the first mission of Spartan Ops on Legendary Solo, and all I did for 30 minutes was neutralize some zones and fight wave after wave of random covy dropships. Is there anything more to it? (no spoilers please, for everyone )
