I like BTB but don't like the look of the BTB maps. Mostly because vehicles don't seem to be catered to (meaning vehicles are importantly integrated part of combat of the map, Not a tacked on gimmick) which is a big part of why I like BTB, 2ndly big maps look like just random pieces of map placed here and there.(might be different after playing but that's what it looks like to me)
Some little kid from my old high school just had Halo 4 personally handed to him from Kiki. I don't even...
Spartan Ops : 10 Chapters, including 50 missions. Thats awesome, but i hope that wont be all of it. It probally is though.
We saw how well default forge maps worked in Halo Reach didn't we? Impact looks decent but the other two are pretty men and apparently none of them are in MM from the start. I also don't know if Erosion or Ravine are actually classed as small. Complex is big, the worst map in the game and has frame rate. We have three "small" maps in actuality.
All right, let's get to forging 2v2 maps.. hopefully there will be a doubles playlist in H4, but who knows, it wasn't very popular in Reach.. Also, why the hell should I drop cash on doritos and soda (or whatever that is) for exp? Makes no sense, it's a game. Sure, have fun, buy the game, but I'm not buying random garbage just because it'll change some pixels on my screen. Exp =/=replay value.
True that^ I hate mountain dew and doritos anyways. If I played MM instead of customs I would have a stupid high rank. But rank has never been important to me. I' watched the livestream. Complex looks like it's actually going to be one of my favorites. Also they just said that a behind-the-scenes skill ranking will determine your match-ups
if you don't want to, then don't. thats the point. it just for double xp, so it doesnt effect gameplay. some people might care about ranking up as fast as they can, or some people may just really like dew and doritos, and the double xp is a cool bonus. just because you feel one way doesnt mean everyone else is wrong. the whole point is that its a marketing campaign. people see doritos and dew in the store, and they see halo as well.
from the stream, i saw that you can skip the kill cam and go back to your corpse to see what is going on where you died
Halo 4 is slowly getting better and better... [br][/br]Edited by merge: Wow, they just completely glossed over forge...
yeah, that looked really good overall. extraction looked like a fun and competitive gametype, the weapons all looked good. it could have just been the player or the situation, but the BR actually looked at least as good, if not better, than the DMR somehow. even complex looked like a much better map than i originally thought after seeing a full match on it.
It wouldn't matter to me if this didn't give players an advantage.. imagine paying 20 dollars to have a spartan that did 200% damage. I'm exaggerating, but it's the logic behind my argument that counts. The next step is paying for more basic things, like guns or ordnance. Point being: paying extra to have more power in game is bad.
