Everyone is talking about an Lockout remake, that it was sloppily forged, but had amazing lighting? What are you guys talking about? I assume a halo 4 forge map, but i havent seen the video. Is there any link to it? (If its leaked, maybe give me a hint or somenthing)
I'm just curious as to why they would remove it. Did they just forget to program it in? I don't understand?
Okay, so this is going to sound pretty moronic, but what do you all mean by 'nudging'? I'm sure I am aware of it, just never heard it called this.
Read my message again, i didnt know if it was a leaked video. Then again, i said give me a hint or somenthing, where the video would be placed. Not trying to disrespect the rules, and not you for sure, but i clearly pointed it out.
So i watched the video, and besides the sloppy forging and Z-fighting, I'm liking the atmosphere. I didn't see any FR lag, don't know what you guys are talking about :/
The video is on youtube, but it's unlisted, so the only way to find it is through a google search. Looks good, nice to see a forge map outside of the boring old gray scheme. Can't wait. This will be the first map I forge on and I'll most definitely be forging down by the water
They are talking about for split screen mostly I think, and with all that z-fighting I can almost guarantee there will be some when looking at sniper from BR. But I've never really had a problem with light frame rate dropping. The connection I play on is pretty bogus anyway so a bit of it is barely noticeable. It's only when things start flashing that it becomes a major problem for me and I've only had that on a select few of the community forge maps in matchmaking. As for the nudging thing. I don't think it's removal was as big a step backwards as so many are claiming. I would have preferred more forge objects over the nudging tool which we sort of got.
It's not a huge step back, Waylander, but it was a damn useful tool for many and it hasn't even been replaced with anything (in the specific sense that the control which it used to sit on now goes unused). I think the laziness argument holds no weight, and just smacks of "I don't miss this so I'm going to be critical of people who do." There's nothing to be gained by removing it imo, and many found it useful. No one's calling End of Times here, but I'd say they're justified in being somewhat peeved.
doesn't matter, the vid is unlisted, if you don't have the link, then you can access it, at least to my knowledge. OT: given the new constraints, what kind of mini games do you think we might see in the future?
