I don't think they are limited. I seem to remember them being just like hills in the vidoc, which would probably mean you can make them pretty big.
Yes they are limited`, and i dont know that could be the most dissapointing thing of those zones. But trait zones are to be messed with, you can make them as large as you want, so we could effect jump height and all those other options. But still its not the same, and i dont understand why they made no restriction for trait zones, but for the gravity zones they did. `I,ve seen 5x5, and 10x10 wich is not that big.
it probably takes a certain amount of computing power to just change the physics around on the fly like that, i would guess that that is why they are limited in size.
10x10 is freaking tiny.... It's as though they only expected us to want to use them as lifts or something.
Yeah. I only know of the 5x5 and 10x10 as well, but hopefully there are some bigger-sized ones coming. Whole zero-g maps seem like minigame diamonds in the raw.
I'm pretty sure its fixed, not limited. It looked like you can only put out either a 5x5x5 or 10x10x10 cube.
well that doesnt mean you can combine a number of antigrav zones together, i can see some nice minigames in the future, and racings maps. theres alot of doubt in h4, i think its gunna be ****ing awesome and its about time
Apparently the respawn time settings are broken, at least on Slayer Pro. It still has instant respawns even if you set it to another value. The same is true of the arm time in Grifball, so no remaking regular Assault. Hopefully these are glitches that'll be fixed with a minor patch.
Really? God that's dumb. And if I understand correctly the zones are stackable, which is theoretically awesome but means you can't overlap them to fill an area, as the part that overlaps would act differently from the rest. I hope some or all of that is wrong because it sounds like a good reason to not bother with grav zones to me.
here I rewatched multiple times hoping there was some mistake. Also at 6:20 in that video the two bridge pieces have a small misalignment. Here's to hoping that's the only error in the magnetism function.
Maybe he didn't use magnets *crosses fingers* There probably wasn't even a save movement to blame that on..I dunno if that's a good or a bad thing though
considering that it appeared to be just a few objects thrown together for the sake of the demo, perhaps they were not meticulous about lining them up
well, with any luck, player trait zones will give us the negative gravity all race maps desperately need. EDIT: 7777th post woo!
I've noticed it in a few of the videos, Looks mostly when entering/leaving a building object. 8:00 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dpa9PVf3-WA=player_detailpage#t=2s (and suspicious behavior to avoid walking between pieces like looking up at 8:10) 2:10 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kxe-OiyaIZw=player_detailpage#t=2s (suspicious behavior making sure he was sprinting over it at 8:10 because screen more wobbly while sprinting.) (suspiciously jumping over the first connection then sprinting over the other one, both times at 2:30) Just conspiracy but doesn't looks like magnets are perfect.
