@neoshadow I think I'll try it with 85% bloom. My gametype had faster movement + some other stuff to compensate for the no bloom. My opinion about preorder: Don't do it unless there's exclusive content that's really damn worth it. Not an anime action figure.
In terms of bloom, 85% reduced the randomness at the expense of reducing punishment for spam. I'm not saying I support bloom, but if you're going to implement it into the game, make sure it does what it's intended to do: promote pacing your shots. If I was an advocate for bloom, I would want a four shot kill with 250% bloom. This would prevent players from double tapping like they do in 100% and 85%.

I'm surprised there isn't a swap playlist at launch. Its become a staple playlist in recent years. I suppose nothing should surprise me anymore at this rate though.
Meltdown looks.. almost lazy to me. So many grav lifts and teleporters. Or rather, it might have been considered a lazy map had the designer made it in Forge. I'll reserve final judgment until I can actually play on it, though.

lol are you guys nuts, it looks like one of the best in the game for sure. good driving paths, paths that lead you around in a good flow, these are the elements of btb excellence. that map is going to rock
That may be, ****, but in an opinion, it looks lazily made. I don't know anything about BTB, so I have no idea if it'll work, but I hope so.
@Everyone It looks like the maker spammed grav lifts instead of implementing new geometry when necessary. In quite a few places, lifts and teleporters were implemented unnecessarily... Makes it seem like it won't be super vehicle friendly. Just that big eight to go along. Although now that Eightball says it, I do see where he's coming from with the repetitive feel. I'm primarily, as far as gameplay goes, worried about bottom mid. Because of the 8 shape, a person there (or near mid in general) with rockets or whatever good vehicle-wrecking weapons we get in H4 could effectively shut down all vehicle flow.
it easily looks like one of the best maps in the game, it reminds me most of rat's nest, although its more of an original concept than "inspired" by any previous map. and i dont know what youre talking about when you say "lazily made." plenty of good maps have mancans/teleporters.
