Well, I had this amazing castle siege map idea where you get in a warthog and launch yourself into the enemy base and capture ther territories. It was the only map I was ever proud of. Unfortunately, it fell victim to the save glitch and I had nothing to show for it. Anyway, the map design called for 4 identical warthog launchers (which was a ***** to make especially because it used revenants and changed it in the game type settings) anyway, that's when I had the idea to have a copy/paste feature, which ALMOST came true in halo 4.
Well, you can still build that much faster because once one works it is just a matter of copying each part at the same rotation and moving them into the correct spots. All in all this is still a great feature. No point being unhappy that we didn't get more right after we are given something helpful.
No, I'm not saying it's not helpful, but it doesn't really help us accomplish something new like player trait zones or gravity zones do. It just saves us the minor inconvenience of selecting an object from the menu. (that is, if it wasn't already selected, which it likely is) Once again, I don't want to be complain-ey or anything, but it almost seems like they originally intended it that way and just changed it because yet were running out of time, just because of how trivial it is and because of how much it resembles a feature that I really wanted.
If anything, I'm just going to use them to make sure all of my grav lifts work properly and take you where I want you to go.
I hope we can make the trait zones/grav volumes spawn in when we want them to, and the same for kill zones this times around, unlike Reach where you couldn't.
What TSB said. Like in a Narrows remake you had to use one way shields to slow you down to avoid fall damage. Now just turn off fall date damage or just a small zone to slow you down before you hit. Or make lifts like the ones in Construct.
I'm assuming its just like having 50% gravity on top of zealot where your POV is always normal but gravity just push you constantly up towards roof or a wall, Idk how it would control though. From a gamer perspective I didn't even think of rotating POV and I now want it D: but as a developer perspective would be a ***** to code. But guess you could always use gravity and optical illusions to make people think its happening like the forge trailer for reach 4:36. To come back at somenthing i said earlier, about time of the day.. That is indeed not there, but i have seen special fx in the menu, for me that just easily confirms that there is Special fx in the game. And instead of medic stations, we now have shields. That are placeable.
So the cave was the third map. While we are getting a lot less Drivable terrain in general between the maps, I'm still excited to see how we can use it in interesting ways. I wish things like the tower on Erosion and the big flat area on Ravine maybe weren't there, as I hate pre-built areas like that that will no doubt get in the way sometime, hopefully they won't be too big of a bother and maybe even will be integrated into certain maps well.

It sure looks that way.. There is so many awesome stuff, and also some let downs, especially with forge and the covenant IMO. Well Erosion was the cave map, its ok i think, but i had all these crazy plans with forge, sand journey maps, icey glaciers, weather etc. And i heard that ravine is only that small island Thats too small, really, ok you can forge up all the way down the water, and at erosion pretty much the same but still, those great islands in the distance, that hole in the ceiling on erosion you want to go through to explore more. Oh and that build-in grifball court on erosion is kinda compareable to coliseum from the reach forge map. But its awesome in many ways, Erosion still looks beautifull, the water, and the cave light.. I can see the infection maps been build up there, Zombies in space.. I got my plans ready, im curious about the plans of all you guys, what do you guys have in mind to build already?
