Halo 4 Discussion

The rage has been on since the Game Informer leak about semi-random weapon drops and loadouts.

I for one still dislike that, with a passion. I'm making this my last Halo; I don't want Halo 5 to cause me to rage hard enough to shorten my lifespan. Besides, I only use the Xbox for Halo anymore anyway. Everything else I want I can get on PC.

More OT: I don't like the idea of focusing the game around BTB. It's fun and all, sure, but Halo grew up on 4v4. It's a staple of the series as much as shields are IMO. Then again, that's what I said about same starts and power weapon spawns, so who knows...

well boltshot looks pretty awesome. and they only showed binary rifle headsots, so im still not sure if its a OSK with body shots.

and i was actually enjoying the song till about 0:43

 

I dont know why.. but i disagree with almost everything you say..

binary rifle is OSK anywhere
they talk about it a lot if you read the commentary in the update.
it sounds pretty ****ing awesome.
we can't really guess on the balance of it until we get to use it though.

dem sounds with a decent pair of headphones... holy moly

"see the telltale laser sight of the Binary Rifle projecting across the map"
and that certainly balances things a bit

 

I love the sound of the Binary rifle

 

the only thing that bugs me is still the random of the weapon drop.
when that binary drops, every derp on the map is gonna run for it like hell.
people will betray each other to get it. all hell will break loose.

it might be better to just use as bait.

 

But when both teams try to bait, things do get interesting.

 

I think that 343 could have done with out the automatic forerunner weapon. It just doesn't fit that they would have something like that, because, at least for me, I always imagined them as cold, precise beings, much like the structure they left behind.

 

Could it be our new SMG though? It doesn't seem very good (though it apparently has its place in campaign), but I think that might be useful in custom games.

 

i agree with this. it is the new SMG and it is amazing.

 

Dude, the Suppressor sounds ****in' baws.

 

The incineration cannon sounds demonic. Me likey.

 

They sound like a Transformer battle.
