Hey, that means I'm a demented hand-freak... Yeah, I tried pretty hard to use my middle finger for the trigger, but it was annoying to have to hold up the controller with my ring and pinky fingers.. If there's no controller setup exactly like the one I use (default) in H4, I'll take that as an excuse to try that and a better controller setup again.
index finger of front bumper, middle finger of second bumper, ring finger on trigger master race here. thats right, i have 2 sets of bumbers. not really though, i just use my index fingers for all 6 of those. Since my first controller (SNES) had no bumpers, this feels natural. well, i guess it was just bumper, no trigger. also i don't know anybody who uses their middle fingers on the triggers and index on bumper. do you also drive with your right foot on gas and left foot on brake? **** you if you drive a manual
New map and first look at the updated CTF today has me excited. Not sure how I feel about the rumor that you can still use your pistol while holding the flag.

That's been rumored to be the Promethean grenade around Waypoint. And I know, I was just teasing But considering you can carry a pistol with a flag now, I'm curious to know if that also applies to the PP and Promethean pistol equivalent, or if the firepower pack affects this as well and you can carry a primary weapon with the flag.
That map looks pretty cool, and I like for the flag assassination it goes "FLAGSASSINATION" plus he did it on an Elephant or what seemed to be one...

no chance. i dont care if youre master chief, you cant hip fire a gas powered assault rifle with one hand, much less a SAW or something. also, i knew that map wasnt valhalla.
Am I weird for doing it with my right hand but not my left? I don't mind switching my index finger between jump and nade because I don't nade quite as much as I shoot, jump or melee. It gives me support on the underside of the controller, I tried it with both hands but it just didn't feel comfortable.
I know, I hope it's not either. I was just throwing that out there as something they would have the idea of doing since 343i has a habit of making a few bad decisions every now and then. Speaking of the SAW, was that confirmed as a primary or ordinance?
Nice. Did anyone ever play Blacklight: Tango Down? That had HRV which is basically the same as Pro Vision, but the recharge mechanic was really nicely done. It had a charge bar, limiting how long you could use it for, but they prevented on/off bursting by making it so that even a split second use would require a recharge before it could be used again. The shorter the time you used it for, the quicker it recharged, but you were never able to burst it more than once before having to wait at least a short while. I thought that was really clever and did a lot to stop people whoring it as much as I suspected when I first saw the game. I wonder if 343 considered that as a mechanic. The only issue with it is that it's slightly counter intuitive at first, but I got used to it very quickly.
