Hey guys, it was recently stated in a SU that any form of leaked content is no longer allowed. So discussion of leaked content is no bueno.
I don't really agree with that. Discussing something you've seen and spreading it are two different things.
This. Policy was always "You can't link it" not "you can't discuss it." Especially since discussing a leak is akin to speculation (as it may be untrue) whereas linking it would be spreading disinformation at best.
It's not on this site and I'm not about to link it. Sorry. Also, I would like to say that my comment about perks/AAs can be extended to the general concept of them as well, and was directed at the entire system being present in the game. The leaks just reminded me of that.
I agree with y'all, just stating what I read in the SU. I'll take this up with Shock to get a final answer.
I agree with TSB/sarge. We have been discussing leaked content since Halo first came out, no reason to change that now.
i found it. and i dunno, all the tactical packages/support upgrades seem pretty equally useless to me. well useless isnt quite the right word, but they seem like theyll all be pretty negligible in overall gameplay, so im not too worried. and im not necessarily opposed to AAs as long as they are implemented well, and these new ones seem to be better than reach
I don't know, the wording in that paragraph doesn't really say "NO ONE TALKS ABOUT THINGS THEY'VE HEARD."
Yep. No posting or linking to leaked or illegitimately obtained information about Halo 4. Talking? That's cool. I think we've got plenty of official info already to keep to stuff we know is true, though.
I honestly dislike the thought of halo using perks and care packages. I don't really like that about CoDMW & now it's flooding the only other FPS I love. I liked the simplicity of classic halo, knowing the capabilities of the other team & what they can do instead of them changing every time they die. I really liked H3s use of equipment over AA's and perks. I say bring that back with the ability to see what secondary weapon and equipment the player has carrying on his body like reach did.
I think there will be playlists for this. What they have shown is largely the new Infinity Slayer. Personally I like both, so I would try both gametypes and I think I would like them equally. The old is lovely, but the new additions make for a interesting twist on the lovely old game.
Wow is it actually infinite sprint? That's awful. @Skisma: Not to undermine ya bro but discussion of leaks has always been okay..just not linking to any leaked content. Edit: looks like shock and others were here first anyhow.
We're not all as acquiescent as Chuck luckily. You're not giving us Buenos if we discuss leaked content? But I love Mexican food.
Sorry for the false restriction I gave earlier guys. I was unclear about something and was just doing my job What I found interesting from the Bulletin: -Details about forge will come later this summer. -LE will be quite limited so pre-order your copy ASAP! -Controller layouts aren't final yet, they'll likely fix Bumper Jumper. -A classic halo (hopefully not like the "classic slayer" game mode in Reach) playlist will be available in MM. -There will be a game mode similar to Invasion since Elites will not be playable in MP.

so it is confirmed that that ordinance drops are NOT in team slayer, just infinity slayer. some people had some confusion about that a few pages ago.
