Spose that would make sense. Red sentinels were aggressive and blue ones were friendly, so if the same were to go for all other AI of forerunner design, then it would help in blending these Prometheans into the universe.
the blues do look more like forerunner tech we are used to seeing in past games. perhaps there are multiple surviving forerunners, ones who are in a bit of a disagreement with the promethean (presumably the Didact).
Anyone else think they should have kept the past game narrator you know the guy who says " killing spree" and stuff The new one sounds weird.
Can someone please clear things up for me? Didact hates humanity. Yet he believes in the Mantel which means that he believes all life is sacred or something like that. Forerunners see humanity as a successor. The concept art Halo 4 trailer shows a Precurser who were supposed to be extinct. Why would the Didact be a huge threat to the universe? How do Precursers go into the story? This is going to be a really interesting 3 part campaign.
I doubt that if there are surviving Forerunners that 343 would introduce them in H4, if at all. They may hint at it, but just not let us see them at all, leaving our imagination to what they look like. I could be wrong, but that's the way I would do things.
"Image of a Forerunner as depicted by 343 Industries and Microsoft Games" too late also "Tall, thin, with very humanoid features"
yes, prometheans are the name for the warrior class in forerunner society. the didact was/is a promethean, the Didact in fact is the title for the supreme military commander. so many are making the presumption that he is the one behind all the orange robot enemies chief encounters. also, this is just a wild guess, but maybe the "ancient evil" that has been awakened is the precursors, and the didact is going to side with them for some reason.
You would think that the Didact would be anti-precurser since they caused them to go into forced extinction and stuff.
My guess is that at some point in between the fall of the forerunner and now, the Didact and the Librarian and her life workers came to a heads, thought it is possible the didacts forces have been corrupted by precursors and the didact is still working with the librarian. Still a greater love story than twilight.
you would think, but if that voice was him at the end of that e3 footage, he sounded pretty happy about an ancient evil awakening. maybe he's just been pissed at the universe since the librarian died. "According to 343 Guilty Spark, the Librarian was the only one who could "temper" the Didact's anger."
Ooooor, maybe the Precursers can help Didact ressurect the Librarian since they have life powers and stuff. So that may be why Didact is in alliance with the Precursers. As said before, still a greater love story than Twilight.
I would bet money that there are going to be friendly lifeworkers (maybe those blue folks up top) that help you out on longstanding orders from the Librarian though... maybe they even help turn the didact back against the precursors or somesuch... hrm.
So this Thruster pack, Is it going to replace Jetpack AND evade? So you'll be able to thrust after you jumped to go upwards or something?
