That Railgun is literally the first piece of good news I've heard about the H4 multiplayer so far. It sounds like it'll be like the brute shot, only with less sending-things-pinballing. Also, aren't railguns generally on a larger scale?
currently, yes. but in a sci fi video game based 500 years in the future, i suppose a handheld one isnt too unbelievable.
Oh well that changes everything. I was surprised by the railgun though. I thought most sandbox additions were gonna be forrunner or precursor or whatever
I lol'd I too hated the spartan laser. Nobody likes dying whilst frolicking in a mongoose (yes I said frolicking, problem?) from being lasered across the map.
Something like a small-scaled gauss cannon would be an adequate replacement for the Spartan Laser in my eyes.
Good that now that it couldn't get worse, all starts to get slightly better. If they just specify more. I'm not sure if we'll see a few special playlists with AA's and Random Weapon Drops and **** or a few special playlists that haven't got that. I hope matchmaking infection will be decent with more gametype and map variation. Shotgun+Magnum+Sprint can get boring too damn fast. Maybe they can put the Loadouts and Perks or whatever to good use in Infection and let you choose between multiple Loadouts.
Hiding in a corner or up on a ledge killing zombies with anything can get boring too damn fast. OT: My ideal railgun: Gauss Hog-type firing mechanism, 3SK, 0.75 sec cool-down between shots, and a 2x scope w/ a reticule twice the diameter of the SR's. Also, for shits and giggles, the ability to shoot through walls, but only when coupled with the use of Forerunner Vision.
Wish I could read it. Every time I load the page on my iPhone it just kicks me off safari completely. Last weeks bulletin worked fine, it's just random when it happens. Same goes for most member profiles here on FH. Tried clearing my cashe and cookies, didn't work. Not trying to take discussion away from H4, but any ideas why this is happening?
Triton? Why haven't you? I honestly wish they would go back to designing maps for specific gametypes like they did in Halo 2. Yea, that severely limited how the map played with out-skirting gametypes but to me it worked a helluva lot better than trying to make every map support every gametype. Sometimes, you just can't do it. For example, Relic and Terminal are easily my favorite Halo maps ever and they were only playable with a few gametypes. Yea, this can go awry when you design a map specifically for ONE gametype, (i.e. Invasion specific maps) but the progression style play of Invasion is mostly to blame for those maps' incompatibility with other gametypes. Seeing this idea applied to gametypes that have been developed in later games (i.e. maps designed with Infection in mind) would really spruce up the player audience that wants to play those gametypes instead of just the standard Slayer/Team Slayer games. Just a thought.
Or they could make it so Infection actually has some semblance of balance and is even remotely fair/fun for the zombies.
In relation to the live action series they're producing. Jorge perhaps? EDIT: Both good as far as I'm concerned.
