I was blown away by what they did with Halo CE Anniversary. I was expecting a texture reskin like they have been doing with PS2 remakes, but it's a full ****ing engine update.
I'm really excited to try CE. I've never played it and i have always wanted to. Halo 4 trailer is a win. He looks like a boss when he grabs that pistol.
They had clones for halo 1 and 2 for Co-Op with no explanation, dont think anyone would freak out if they did the same. Anyways, this is very exciting news! I am looking forward to the remake, not sure when I get it though WAY too many games are coming out in november I secretely hate it. There were assassinations in the trailer which means there were changes just hopefully not too many.
Well I am so pumped and yes forge will be there and Halo CE anniversary is kinda like the Halo 3 ODST for Reach if you know what I mean. The old school maps for Reach!!!! YESS!!
So far: Beaver Creek Damnation Tombstone/Hang Em' High Sidewinder Derelict/Desolation Damnation They are even calling them Tombstone and Beaver Creek, so they are probably remakes of the Halo 2 versions. Which I prefer.
Someone please tell me what happens in the trailers? I can;t stream anything, so the extent of my knowledge is that H4 and H:ce are confirmed.
Halo CE is a complete and 100% accurate remake of the original campaign, with the reach engine. It looks as good as reach, if not better. they show several comparisons that show every rock, tree and enemy in the same place. Think "Chill Out" to "Cold Storage" graphics upgrade. The map remakes are for Reach. They have high graphic upgrades as well. Halo 4 trailer starts off showing a circulatory system rebooting with a faint voice crying out for you to wake up. Finally your heart starts up and Master Chief bursts open his pod and gets cortana in his helmet. He jetpacks through the ship, while it's detonating, and a beam from a covenant corvette opens up and prepares to beam him in. Que famous choir.
In the Halo 4 trailer, Cortana wakes John up, the ship is under attack, he uses a jetpack (I don't know) to propel himself to the opening of the ship and he sees a huge ring thing glowing in the middle, and no it's not a Halo. In the Halo CE Anniversary Trailer, it shows footage of original CE, saying how it changed the gaming world, etc., then it becomes the new graphics and shows campaign and multiplayer footage, also there will be 7 multiplayer maps from CE.
