halo 3 game isnt working!!help!!

Is it the game or the xbox? Try another game.

 

smear it with toothpaste, wash it off, dry it and try again.
seriously it really works it gets rid of the cracks and stuff.

Try that only after you try a different game first to determine whether it's the Xbox or the game.

 

Dude i do that tooth paste meathod every time and my god it works. Also, if you cup your hand around the disk and breath to fog it up, sometimes the disk will work, but you got to put it in FAST.

 

if you just bought halo 3 you can return it for a refund and get a new one.

 

refunds ftw yea i use my disk cleaner every time i want to play zelda collectors edition(majoras mask), it works pretty well, i got it at radioshack

Guys, no one has mentioned the hard drive cache problem. Take out your hard drive and if halo works fine, Turn the xbox 360 off and plug the hard drive in, Turn it back on, Select Halo 3 and hold A + UP(D-PAD) the whole time until you get to the main menu and it should get rid of your problem.

There is another way to clear the hard drive cache but i cant remember it
