I'd suggest blending the focal a lot more, and not applying the filter. Find some other cool effect for it.

pretty ok flow, the effect kinda ruins it, but nice and clean cut out.

 

Its a pretty good cut, Im not really liking the effect or filter, good text effect though

 

Don't just layer on filters. It makes it look nooby. It seems like you understand the program, but just read up a bit on how to make a really nice sig.
