8,000 MS Points? Dang. That's a lot. I looked at the website and the tournament's rules and guidelines. I have a question. Do we have to have a gametype? Because it is included in the submission format. The rules stated that stealing of maps or gametypes is not allowed but what if the map that we make is an MLG or a Conquest map? Is it okay if we provide the link to the original gametype? I'm surely participating in this.
Well you just gave me a good incentive to finish forging the map I'm working on, however, I'm not sure that I'll be done by May 7th. I don't want to rush it. And yeah, same question as to the gametype, most people don't even download the gametypes anyways. It's kinda annoying. Also, can we only do competitive maps or are we allowed to post a racetrack, for example?
I am willing to move the date a little later if that is what people want. The main thing is the map. The game type can be anything and it can be someone Else's game type. Just must be YOUR own map. Everything goes. So if you want to make a race track that's cool. The top 10 will be voted on by the community. One more thing. If enough people enroll in this contest. It will become a monthly thing.

It can be anything. If you go to the site and read all the rules. Its in there. But people can make whatever they want. I want people to have fun with it.
I have wondered and always will why people give away stuff in contests, I surely would rather have the points and free time rather than having to judge and give away hard earned money.
