Okay so through much thought i have decided to bring my next map to the community and see what remake everyone thinks i should create. I want to make it as close to the original as i possible can. I will try to make everything exactly like before throughing in little to no changes unlike lockout to blackout. I am open for the map remakes if someone can generate a remake that I am unknowledgable about. I played Halo 2 but not Halo so if there is one there i'm missing bring it to my attention. So first I will make whichever has the most votes by the time April 9th rolls around first. Maybe if there is people out there that would like to start a group dedicated to bring back old maps we could also start that. But to begin here are your choices as of now. Ivory Tower *Midship **Burial Mounds Ascension please vote and comment why you picked that one or something you want me to keep as close as possible. Also if anyone would like to join in and co-forge or help form a remake group the map will be on sandbox so hopefully we can make haste. *midship will be difficult with its "roundness" so bare with me it will take a little longer **Burial Mond may be hard to fit on sandbox so i will need some advice here if it is chosen.
If you can handle it, I would vote Burial Mounds, just because it is an awesome map that I completely forgot about. With Burial Mounds you may have to use the outside of Sandbox to make it fit. I only chose Burial Mounds, because the texture of the items on Sandbox just seem to have that dirty color in them. Only Burial Mounds seems to fit that texture.
Ya i've been thinking how to keep it close with sandbox i asumed with blocked off towers would be the only way but through my observations it seems quite simple that it will lack a lot that the original had beacuse i will not be able to keep the land like before structures sure but as far as the crevices and the hills i'm going to have to go way out of the box with this
Burial mounds, bigtime. Man, I loved that map. I think I might just go hit up Halo 2 and play that again. Just for the nostalgic effect.
