lately i have been noticing people(with recon) changing there name and removing me & my friends and i have heard from someone (with recon) that someone was hacking, and selling recon accounts, and this person recently removed me and changed his name, now i am aware that they have removed me because i know how many freinds i have and was wondering if you have heard anything about this? examples: ibloodxsho7 LeBorz Someone said this person was hacked PS im going to check my games with these people and check there new name & friends
Ive heard of people selling Recon accounts- but now that Recon has been handed out to so many people, they are bound to be hacked...
I hate it when people claim their account was "hacked". Bungie even addressed the issue in last weeks Weekly Update. Chances are, they gave their password or even just their email address away willingly, maybe not directly to the person but just on public display (forums, in their Xbox Bio etc).
My friend got Recon from the July 4th thing, and I told him to change his password because he's got seven 50's, so it's just a matter of time until they start trying to hack his account. I think anyone who thinks their endanger of getting their account hacked should use a completely random email address for their gamertag, like slkdfjksaldfjlsaj2343@dogdogdogdogcat.com or something that no one would ever be able to guess. It's only there to be used for signing in, so having something that no one would be able to use against you is ideal.
