This is a map I started when the Lizard Squad decided to wreck Christmas time gaming I imagined this map with Oddball in mind primarily but as I was forging it sort of just took its own shape. I wanted to maintain a high amount of mobility with this map and I believe that was accomplished here, especially with the settings I saw floating around the forums here (110% movement speed). I am looking for constructive feedback on all aspects of the map. Thank you 3v3 Team Slayer Match Fly Through
I definitely love how crisp and clean it looks. Great use of the metallic pieces. Sadly, the map looks a tad barren. Strikes me as kind of blocky, bare bones, and wide open. I'm sure those traits can be addressed and this refined into something much more concrete though, and I'd be glad to help ya out with it.
Just played my first 3v3 on it and it was definitely awesome. It looks so open but the combat never was. The Energy Sword is certainly the weapon to control. Hopefully the other guys that played on it can chime in with some helpful critiques. I will edit this post and add the match footage so that everyone can see it in action. Edit 1: @SecretSchnitzel thanks for the compliments. I will see what sort of pieces I can add without going into the performance issues. I am 350 pieces with spawns right now and I think it can afford to go over that a bit
After playing it with more than a 1v1 I think there needs to be more cover for spawns. I was getting destroyed in some places before I took a few steps. Ideal for a 2V2 I think, but any more and it becomes difficult to move without getting nailed. Since you have some open budget perhaps you can just add some decorative touches that also double as spawn cover or concealment. I didn't see any shotties on the map but they might help tone down the Godlike sword lunges too. That's all I got though, party chat is killing us lol.
Thanks for the feedback @Vanu. There are Shotguns are the map, two actually. They are on the little red/blue ramps that lead down to the Active Camo. I was definitely witnessing the spawn deficiencies and they will be addressed. The technical side of Xbox online is just killing all things fun right about now and not being able to talk to anyone was a huge drawback. I really hope they start to get their stuff together. Again I value the input. Thanks
