Hey all! Newbie here. I was messing around with H2A forge this weekend for the first time and came across some questions where I couldn't tell what some options were doing. For example, Phased vs Fixed Physics, etc. Does anyone have a resource that describes all of these options and their use cases? The in-game descriptions don't seem very useful and only point out the obvious. Any help is much appreciated!
Hmm, I'm not aware of a such a resource. Testing stuff out is one of the core aspects of Forge. Trust me, we've all been there! For anything you don't understand you can ask it here. We're happy to help! Fixed: You can put an object above the ground and it will stay fixed in mid-air. It's also immovable by players. Phased: Same properties as Fixed, additionally you can phase an object into the landscape and other objects.
Thanks for the clarification! So "Fixed" can not be colliding with other geometry, but will be immovable. "Phased" is the same but can be intersecting with other geometry.
There are some H2A resources here that may be helpful to anyone that's new, or has forgotten - https://www.forgehub.com/threads/forge-guides.148359/
