No, you didn't misread the title. Gulchtopia is a City RPG on Halo Reach that's been going on since 2011. If that sounds interesting, keep reading and I'll explain to y'all how it works.

Gulchtopia is a city, it's built on forgeworld. It has homes, businesses, public works, and many of the other things cities have. People get jobs and make money per game to buy things like homes, weapons, furniture, armor abilities, etc. The money, prices for things, and pretty much everything else is kept track of on our website.

One of the great things about Gulchtopia is it isn't static. Things change all the time. People start new businesses, criminals enact crazy plans, and the government starts new programs. We've had gangs rise and fall, businesses take the town by storm and go out of business, we've even had a couple armed rebellions.

In Gulchtopia you can be many things:

A Cop trying to keep the city from breaking into chaos.

A minimum wage worker trying to get an apartment.

A taxi driver taking people around the town.

A security guard protecting rich people's property.

A greasy criminal always trying to break the law for money.

A bum that fights other bums for the amusement of the rich.

A reporter, writing articles about all the crazy stuff that goes down.

A... whatever the hell you want to be.

In Gulch you can really be whatever you want to be if you try at it.

If you're interested in Gulchtopia and would like to join in on a game, we'll be playing next Sunday. Possibly on Saturday as well.

Feel free to post any questions as well.

I've been thinking about making one of these in Halo 5 for a while now. I'd love to talk to you and get some advice.

My first piece of advice is that it's a bad idea to do it on any game that doesn't have proximity voice. Hence why I don't do it on 4 or 5. Otherwise you have either nobody able to hear each other or everyone will hear everyone all the time.

Cool m8, make an account on the website http://gulchtopia.forumotion.com/ here. I'll approve it when I get the chance and our next games will be next weekend.

You know Reach can only hold 16 people a lobby, right?

I fail to see what that has to do with anything.
