Howdy y'all, I'm NILLOC 916 and I'm here to tell y'all about something a bit unusual on Halo 5. Gulchtopia, a City RPG that myself and quite a few other people have been doing over the years. We started back in Halo 3 and over the years it's evolved into something quite interesting. Just like you'd expect from a city RP, people can get jobs and money to buy things but in addition to that people can do nearly any crazy thing they can think of. In-fact, there's some crazy stuff fixing to go down soon. More on that later. First I'm going to answer some questions I often get from people when they find out about Gulchtopia. Q1: How does money work? A1: Money, jobs and nearly everything else is kept track of on a website that we use. When people earn money, the thread with their balance is edited and when they buy something the same happens but stuff is also placed in forge. Q2: So just boring everyday stuff happens? A2: Oh of course not. Over the years there have been gang wars, rebellions, terrorist attacks and even a few zombie outbreaks just to name a few of the things that have happened. Q3: What kind of jobs are there? A3: There are of course cops. But there are other positions like Taxi Driver, Bartender, Priest and Security Guard. Anyone thinking of another kind of business that can do well in the game can try to have it put in the game as well. For example, one guy is trying to make a used furniture store work. Q4: Wait... did you say priest? A4: Yes, over the years the town has gone through some odd cults started by citizens. From the Church of Sheogorath (the god of madness from Elder Scrolls) to "Pasha's Church of Racism" which was a cult that believed Elites were pokemon that needed to be "caught" with "pokeballs" which were plasma grenades. Currently the town's most popular religion is Rockyism. An odd church that believes that a giant rock blew itself up to make the universe. It's priests are quick to turn violent against those they deem heretics and so there's not much open opposition to the church. Q5: Do I have to get a job? A5: Of course not. You do what you feel like. There have been some people that have gotten involved in bumfights or gotten involved in other greasy shenanigans. Q6: How does the average game work? A6: Each game is 30 minutes. People go on a team corresponding to their job, or there lack thereof. At the end of each game the people working get paid and we start up again. Our games are on Sundays (though we sometimes do them on other days in addition) and we typically have 2-4 games every day we do it. As I said before, I'd get back to some of the crazy things going on. Now here we are. Currently the Gulch is in a bit of an uneasy peace. The government forces consisting of the Mayor's security and the police are managing to avoid open violence with the organized crime groups in the town and there are rumors that there're some people plotting an all out rebellion in the town. So as a result both the police and Mob are rapidly recruiting while keeping an eye out for the shadowy "Revolution".
