lol On topic... I'm also looking forward to more customization in this game, like SA did. Haircuts, cars, ect.
To further that, it's important to note that they only number their GTA games when it's a massive reinvention of the franchise and not just some slight improvement over the previous iteration. So I'm expecting quite a bit from this.
Yeah, the whole "We're doing it larger and more ambitious than ever before" thing makes me pretty excited.
Actually, it's been confirmed that it is not the same voice actor. Doesn't mean it isn't Tommy, could be they just found someone with a similar, older voice. GTA V: Is That Tommy Vercetti? - PlayStation 3 Feature at IGN
Very probably not a real date. Lots of times stores will put random future dates on releases that are far in the future and don't have an official date yet. People online are guessing anywhere from May to Q4 of 2012... I'd like to think the former, but the latter seems more realistic.
Agreed, shops' speculative dates mean next to nothing. I can also see it being Q4, with the long hype periods that modern high budget games seem to have it'd make sense.
If they put in the annoying stuff (hunger, workout, etc.) then I'll be dissapointed. Haircuts and cars are not a big problem. I was really hoping for VC, but the trailer seems very promising. Another thing I hope Rockstar does is to make Los Santos actually look like LA, not just a copy-and-paste from San Andreas. Look foward to seeing Sarge's house! Edit: Just found this on Youtube. It's a more in-depth analysis of the trailer. GTA V Trailer Analysis - YouTube
That's a lot. But if Los Santos is 4x the size of LC from GTA 4, then why does it take 15 minutes to drive from the center to the countryside? I might be mistaken, though.
Saweeeet WHAT. No! This is looking very promising. This has to be one of the most anticipating games for me. Can't waittttt haha
If this is true, then that would make him the oldest protag to date (or at least tied with Vercetti from VC).
Yeah. Mid-30s. That made him the oldest; every other protagonist was in their mid-late 20s and their early 30s. This guy seems a little older. Honestly, I'll be dissapointed if we play as this guy. It might feel awkward playing as an old guy out on the streets of Los Santos, where there is a ton of hookers and street gangs. I'd rather see this guy as somewhat of a main character. Maybe someone who gives out missions, or a boss even. On top of that, it would be even worse if we played as a father, as he said in the trailer. Edit: Looked at Mocha's link again. The supposed actor doesn't look old at all, so maybe it won't be as bad as I thought. I still think he is going to be the oldest protagonist.
