I really like your aesthetics here especially on the cars and street signs. I thought it wasn't fair this map had no comments so this is one for you nice job
Very cool human aesthetics here and the layout looks more interesting than what I've seen of Extermination so far. I just have an art nitpick - I don't know if you prefer the brightly look to the map, but I think it looks better on Outcast with either Crisp or Enhanced filters, and then you can change the sand ramp you have to asteroid to round out the color palette. This lets the player appreciate the rusted look of the map and lets the interior lighting shine more prominently.
I like your reasoning with the environmental atmosphere and I'll mostly likely look back into it. I did go through the other sky options but didn't mess with the filters over top of them. The main reason I choose the bright time of day was because I felt that darkening the map might improve hiding spots as the map seems to have good corners and pockets. It would also require me to add more lighting which in turn may lower the frame rate. At one corner I started to get frames to drop so I removed all my vegetation and extra detail. As for the barrens terrain it seemed to fit the bill for a land slide and I liked how it was the newest DLC terrain but the asteroid terrain makes sense and I'm interested to see the difference. Pretty cool map, props on making decent looking cars too! I just dropped in to check it out and I did find a break in the map, it's from the bridge to the top of the building. You can see it in my clips (I'll link it if I get time to later). Gamertag: Whos Blaze. I also have recorded a suggestion I feel would improve on something in the map. The lift-pipe is kind of out of place in my opinion. The shield can be broken and you just bounce up and down if you do. You can also just thruster slide up it without the sliders, so I personally think it'd be better to have that as a sort of tactical jump.
