Hi all, first time posting a map, but I've been forging a long time. Luke Smith and Stinkles of Bungie.net both have told me they thought my map was awesome: LukeSmith: "I came" Stinkles: "Wait till you see Great Wall" Anyways I thought I'd share it with more of the community so please download and tell me what you think of it! I'm pretty sure that is stated in the rules somewere. and also to piggyback on that...if bungie.net said that they liked your map...show us by posting a link to download it from the bungie forums. Not from your fileshare.

The concept is pretty freakin cool, but the weapon and powerup placement seemed pretty wrong to me. I mean, come on: - Shotgun in a wide open area - Sword right next to an overshield - Snipers in way too easily accesible areas These are just a couple things I noticed when checking the map out. But dont take this as a negative comment, I think this map has potential out the ass. It just needs some serious weapon balancing and I think it would be extremely awesome to play any objective team games, team slayer, OR FFA on. Maybe start working on version 2.0 ??

Re: Great Wall Foundry CTF forging: Luke Smith and Stinkles of Bungie.net Love i Thanks you guys, I will take your weapon placement into consideration (it's the one hard thing to balance without being able to test your map properly, right?) Luke Smith told me that they played this map 7v7 for the humpday! About the sword/overshield powerup, the reason its up there is cause its sorta difficult to access cause you need the grav lift, its kinda like a reward, but if its too powerful I may change it. Also the shotgun, don't be surprised at how effective it is around those levels/shield doors Anyways Expect to see a new version soon sometime

I agree with Titmar about the overshield/Sword situation, I'd ditch the sword and keep the overshield. The overshield would be more useful for Objective games, argumentatively.
Re: Great Wall Foundry CTF forging: Luke Smith and Stinkles of Bungie.net Love i No, I played a couple of small games with my friends. I like it, the huge wall reminds me of Boarding Action slightly, but in a good way. The comments so far have a good point; the Ovie and sword could be split up.
