This may help someone making a Map in need of some type of marker but if make a gravity lift and then quickly delete it. Sadly the glow does not save with the map making it basically useless...who knows mabey someone will figure out how to make it stay. Some screen shots of the glow. Its a little hard to do but it van be done.
I don't really see any useful application for this, especially considering that the glow goes away after quit. Now, if it saved, and there was a way to do red, that would be useful (make floor blue or red). But as it is, cool, but I just don't see the point. Thinking about it, the only use is in machinima. But even then, not really a point. Does it make you glow if you're in it? Then, it might actually have a use in machinima. Otherwise, cool, but pointless.
Be awesome if this saved, you could probably do the same thing with the sword and create glowing walls for certain areas, say a dark corridor.
thats a nice glitch, Yeah it doesn't have that many uses but it will help me for when im marking out things ill do 10 mins later ( normally use traffic cones) so thanks
Well I was kind of working under the principal "maybe if someone knows about this they can find a way to improve it".
Draw a generic looking ghost on the ground with the glow, take a screenshot, name it "Ghost of Narrows", post it on the Bungie forums, watch the kiddies go wild with "OMG how u do tat?," enjoy your new Bungie Favorites screenshot
You can get the same glow, but with it staying, by placing an upside down mancannon. Depending on where you want the glow to be, you may have to float it or interlock it though. So long as the mancannon is set right, it will act only as a light, and not a mancannon.
It's good for machinima, I could find many uses, such as lights on a landing strip, or as a lamp in a room (Place a weapon holder on the glowing thing, might resemble a lamp) who knows, it could be useful.
