    Gradient Valley

-The environmental systems have malfunctioned, causing this once frozen tundra to become a tropical war ground.

If you couldn't infer from the description, this map is inspired by Avalanche from Halo 3. It's my first competitive map, but it's my first competitive map that I'm confident about. Albeit it needs more cover for infantry and the bases are a tad bit dark, I hope you like what you see!

outside base looks a smidge like a death trap for infantry. At the tank spawn it could be a pretty good thing, but sight lines are a bit long. If you kept that to just the tank spawn it would be OK, but it's too open and easy for the tank from the lewks of things. Try adding some interior areas, like a loading bay that the tank could pass through to keep vehicle open but not OP.

I see potential for a superb CTF map though!

I'm thinking of removing the tanks. It's not really big enough to support them. I might add a ghost or two. Lemme know from the overview screenshot. And yeah this will great for CTF.

I don't see a problem with the tanks. They are slow to fire, and they need to hit the target accurately to kill. If you're concerned about how much power they have over the game, you can always use trait zones to make them immovable. Then they would only be giant, powerful, rotating, single-burst turrets. If you're looking for help with that there's a video out there (I think from Team Epiphany) that talks about Mantis Turrets. You can probably apply this to your tanks. If you want the takes to remain mobile, it actually adds a dimension to the game when people are unexpectedly face to face with a tank. If you're concerned about tanks leaving their own side of the map, you can block their entry to the other side in a number of ways.

Idk. We'll see when I test it. Anyways, who's good with spawns and shizzle. I'v got no idea how to place effective spawns.
