Be honest guys and i mean honest! i dont mind if you say it is the worst idea on the planet. =P Im thinking of hosting something kinda like gamebattles does. BUT here is the thing..... for FORGE! as in there would be a 1v1 bracket and a 2v2/over bracket for a total of two brackets. it would have to be split into 2 threads, (hoping the mods would allow it) if you dont fully understand where im getting at please feel free to post or PM me. =)
I'm think hes trying to explain some along the lines of a Forge-Off. To see if you can forge a better thing then your opponent. Maybe a set goal for the players to build and whoever forges it bet wins? Idk can you elaborate on the idea more?
I know what u mean and it will fail sorry. Gamebattles is solid because its based on scores from a game not opinion scores
Yeah, participation would be pretty low without a well known name hosting it. It's not that you aren't capable, it's just that sometimes people need to know that they are going to be recognized by greatness, not averages. If they wanted that, they could show their map to a friend.

For this to be successful there would certainly have to be prizes and multiple established judges because it is based on opinions.
i don't know. Even if you can get people to participate, it would take forever Even a 4 person bracket could take months.
I think it would be cool if there was kind of like a monthly tournament section or something on the forums. It would encourage people to forge more, increase participation, and draw in many new members. There could be like a small prize of 1600 points or something.
Ya, I see. It's basically a Forge Off. It might work but but the chances of it being put into action are very...very, very low.
people wouldnt participate much cuz say you manage to get one round and you pick a winner the other people wont want to waste there time forging if there just going to loose and then they would have made a whole map for nothing
I dont think that would work, that is all opinion based. The number 1 player on that ladder would just be someone htar had a terrible map and the judge just liked it. Its all opinion, maybe the judge hates MLG and someone constructs an amazing MLG map, he wouldnt get credit.
