LEVEL 3 GUIDE: I highly recommend you use only if you are really stuck. Note that this doesn’t cover everything, but it does go over some of the more tricky sections. FOR ANY GOLF SHOTS, read the above advice. Ultimately, you just have to keep trying and adjusting angles until you get it. Spoiler: ZELDA RUINS - You must get objects onto the switches to press them down. Grunts, boxes, or the soccer/golf balls will work. Easiest way is to use the golf club. The room with the crate has 3 separate switches. - Look for a purple stone on the wall. It can be pressed which move 3 blocks out in the center of the room for about 20 seconds. Jump up them and hit the next switch. - Solving most of the puzzles will drop one of the gray bars making another room accessible. - When you come to the part with a shielded fusion coil, look on the opposite side of the room. Shoot the unshielded coil to temporarily drop the other shield. You must be fast to shoot the exposed coil. Then you roll the ball up the ramp and into the end of the pipe. Spoiler: MINOLTA SQUID - Aim for the areas with the red light. Use the golf ball hitting tips above. Spoiler: MINE CART - This area primarily takes some practice. Make sure you get the gun on the second beam so you can shoot down the lifts later. You will also need to shoot the yellow barrel in the next section to temporarily drop the plasma kill balls, but don’t shoot it too early. You can then jump to the final beam, back to the cart, and jump over the red kill balls to proceed. Spoiler: WHALE GHOST RIDE/ROCK FORMATION - You first must release the ghosts. Climb up the garage and destroy both fusion coils. This will unlock the door causing it to swing with pressure applied. You can shoot it open with the ghost too. - After hitting the purple button to activate the whale, stay towards the front of the whale on the ghost to prevent from getting thrown off. When the time comes, boost off to the right and to the bottom of the ramp below the yellow triangles. If you miss, there is no active reset here, you just have to wait for the whale to come back. - Climb the mountain with ghost thrust. While you need speed, too much can actually cause you to bounce and lose all your momentum. Sometimes what looks steeper may actually be the correct route. Spoiler: GOLF PEAK - Not too difficult, but make take some time to tweak. Just aim for the corresponding light on each hole not forgetting to aim down to elevate the ball higher. Crouching occasionally works too. After you hit all 3, safe passage will open via the pipe. Spoiler: WHALE RIDES - First set of whales just takes practice to get the correct pattern. This is also true of the second part, however, often overlooked is the last set of purple beams can be avoided by jumping to the crab on the right. Spoiler: MINOLTA PART II - The first two shots are similar to how you fought him before. However, after these shots, you will be forced to fight him on the upper platform. The key here is to stop the small kill balls with the shield via the switch, timing is key. You then also have to swing at the kill ball when the grav lift is moving towards the center. If accurate, this will launch the kill ball at the final target and release the missile. The timing has to work out on it all, but you should be able to get after a few tries.
