I dislike the border. I can't say much else about the signature though. It's okay, somewhat monotone though.
I like the effects of the laserish thing but it seems like it was just used to be used. It seems just thrown around randomly. All I can make out in the picture is that there is two people with some random effects and some unrecognizeable structure on the right. The border on the bottom and top looks ugly with just black strips and with those there it makes the no-bordered left and right look out of place. <3
It's called a cinematic effect. Ever seen star wars in widescreen? These guys are the imperial guard, in widescreen.
