Nothing happens. What happens before you were born? No consciousness. Not black, like when you close your eyes. Just simple death.
I guess the best way to describe it would be "like before you were born". I need a Christian to answer this one: Seeing as the "Virgin Mary" was 13-14 when god impregnated her, and she didn't give consent, that mean god raped her, no?
So you just live to live, with no purpose? Doubt it. And no God made everything he can do whatever the **** He wants lmao. She was chosen is my guess. If god wants to create a life form without a seed he'll ****ing do it. All He'd have to do is say, baby and boom you got Jesus Christ. Probably not the answer you want at all but I don't care much anymore.
Why does everything need a purpose? We breed mice just to kill them and feed them to snakes. Is that a divine purpose? Doubt it.
That sounds like an extreme case at best. Are you claiming atheists have no morals? Because that's exactly as it sounds, and is an extreme generalization.
I never said that. But what I'm saying is moreover the way most atheist think. I mean with no God, or purpose, or afterlife what else is there? Nothing but corrupt things, such as the stuff I posted.
If that's the way you choose to live, so be it. I don't happen to get drunk and smoke crack, but there are people who do. All I'm saying is that I have no evidence to believe otherwise. Sure, I can interpret, but I was forced to question everything around me.
I question God and the bible too but I still believe it. Question for you though lol. Do you think the world we live in is 'okay'? Do you, in terms, believe that there is 'evil' in the world?
So you are saying that without religion we are all corrupt... Suuuure. I'm sure all charities have religious means, oh I'll go help this charity, but only because there is a God, and when I die I will go to heaven! And you completely generalized with the second sentence as well. I've been an atheist for a while now, I go help at charities, I give money to them, and I make $8 an hour. I have to pay for my own insurance, so giving away money means a lot to me. I have never done drugs, and if I do, it will probably not be crack. I find that most relationships should have a waiting period before having sex, and I would never date someone already married/dating someone else. If I found out they were I would probably break up with them on the spot. I will probably drink when I get older, but I will not try to get ****-faced every time I drink.
If someone wants to get drunk, smoke crack and have sex then that's their life. I have no problem with people that perform actions purely for material happiness, as long as it harms no-one. Religious meddling with scientific affairs, idiocy, and hatred through misconceptions DOES harm people, so that's not fine with me. Besides, your view on life should be based on evidence, not wishful thinking.
Absolutely not and completely. This world is so flawed that it's disgusting. I hate the human race with a passion.
Agreed. Life doesn't have a defined purpose, and religion doesn't really give anyone a true sense of one either. Advancement of society is something I would like to aim for though. As for what happens after death, I believe the same thing. When you die you lose consiousness. You don't look down at your dead body or become rewarded or happy or burn for eternity. This isn't exactly defined yet, but it's quite obvious seeing as though the other option is we turn into an animal with no other recollection of previous memories. The religious idea sounds ridiculous to me. Any other further responses.
As do I, nor. Wouldn't the evil thing tie up to the beginning though? Adam and Eve being dumb asses and all?
I don't believe in religion, however, I believe in God and Jesus. I HATE going to church, yet I like seeing other Christians, just not in a congregated group sitting, with their perfume and makeup trying to impress one another, doing good for the church not the belief.. I enjoy true Christians just not the one's who play the game. Know what I'm saying?
