ScarecrowXavier can you not come into this thread anymore. This is the general section for a reason. It was meant to be a serious discussion over my situation and glasses in general. Since your first comment here it seemed like you were just here for fun and was a tad obnoxious. Now your just getting a flame war going over something quite pointless.
Sorry, but... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA You'll know what I mean once Scarecrow posts a picture or something.
Yes, ultimately glasses are so you can see. But there are still a lot of styles out there. Why not get to see and look good? You can have both. We have the technology. The thing with glasses is that you have to wear them. They have to fit with every outfit you wear and every occasion. It isn't like a shirt that you can change if you decide it is ugly. You wear them all day, every day, and are often stuck with one pair for at least a couple of years. Choosing the right pair is a difficult decision. I just don't think you understand. Yeah, maybe it's a bit superficial. But it's also human nature. I bet you look at yourself in the mirror every day. Do comb your hair? Or do you leave your hair in a mess because you don't care about the opinions of others and don't want to appease them? Think about this: what if you had to get your hair cut tomorrow, and the way your hair looked when you left the barbers was how it was going to look for 2 years? Wouldn't you at least put some thought into it?
